“I still refer to Dr Gemma as Gracie’s guardian angel. The day I was about to say goodbye to Gracie after a terrible accident, Dr Gemma walked into our lives and offered options I didn’t know existed. A year later, Gracie fell ill with Chronic Kidney Disease and again, Dr Gemma’s compassion, kindness and vested interest in Gracie’s comfort and well-being and of course her expertise, gave me months more with my soul-cat where other vets had given me 24 hours to say good-bye. She was there for us every step of the way and formed her own special bond with Gracie, that when it came time to set Gracie free, we made the decision together and having the comfort that it was the right one with Dr Gemma by my side, we said goodbye together. I now consider Dr Gemma as part of my fur-family and know that all my fur-babies will forever be in good hands.”
